I hope you let this one through guys. Why is it you seem to be alert for the answers you state are not answers and asleep for questions so foul they violate your rules in every way on first impact? Please fell free to post an answer because last week was full of racism and yet you did nothing to stop it. Am I annoyed with you for deleting my answer (which was not an answer...ahem and my question which was not a question...ahem ahem) so has anyone else experienced this rather selective sight on the part of my beloved YA.

  1. Y!A is not the police, the users of this site is. So what questions and answers that are reported and in the end deleted depends on what users has been online at the time and their opinions on different things. Not all users reports things that's against the rules, and others reports anything they dislike for what ever reason.

There is also something called "Reliable Members" when it comes to reporting. If reliable members reports something then it's deleted faster than if other members report something. The reliability is based upon how often you report something that others report. If a reliable member reports things that others doesn't report then they lose reliability. In the end people are careful with what they report since they don't want to lose reliability. By that many questions and answers that should have been reported goes unreported.

I see it all the time, questions and answers that should be deleted that lives on and questions and answers that there is nothing wrong with that are deleted.

You admit you broke the rules so there isn't really any injustice done here. You got caught doing it. You know you did it. Do it again if you wish, you might get away with it, just remember that enough many violations will make them delete your account in the end.

Now to the part that I've been wondering about. You saw all those that violate the rules, did you report them too? Since the users of the site are the police, then you are the police too.
