Why are the Yahoo News Message Boards broken again?

How ******* hard is it to run a simple message board? I need a fix.

It may sound hard to believe, but I think it is politically motivated...The coming one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina is a hot topic for racists on the boards (with good cause). Maybe Yahoo is embarrassed that they facilitate that kind of hate and pulled the plug on the boards.

Seems a large hiccup as Im hearing some can post on certain boards.  I've yet to find any, any political related board seems to have stopped at 4:45 PM (EST) Aug 24th.

I doubt it's politically motivated.

I dont know. But Yahoo dont work half the time anywho. Wish they'd get on the ball and fix it. The ignore feature still dont work either after about 2-3 months.

Racist/?Perhaps you didn't follow any of the Israel story's over the last 30 days there were enough racist remarks to last a life time.  The neo cons never miss a chance to slur anyone with a different opinion than theirs.

It's not a simple message board.  It involves extremely large databases which require occasional maintenance and downtime.  It's just the nature of the beast - you can't keep adding and adding and adding to it and expect zero problems.  Does your computer have zero problems?
