They never usually do that otherwise traffic going into the city would be outrageous.

  1. It happens a few times per year.  I think that it is almost impossible to avoid it completely.  As far as the traffic goes, it depends on where you are coming from.  Besides, traffic is always bad.

  2. They usually do not plan it that way, but it happens a few times a season.  This is not the first time this season.  Although the last time was because of the make-up game for the Yanks with the Pirates b4 the break.  I think they do it so one doesnt take away from the other and not becasue of traffic.  The same reason why you will usually not find the white sox and cubs, or the angels and dodgers at hom the same time.

  3. I'm not sure why it's happening now. It tends to happen maybe once or twice a season. But traffic shouldn't be too bad, since the Mets play in Queens and the Yankees in the Bronx. But mass transit will be the best bet for anyone going to either game.

  4. I don't know. I think it happens sometimes. Although, it wouldn't be much more crowded because no one likes the mets.
