  1. i dunno what a freeview  box is,but i have a reciever and in the menu, system there is a channel no box that has normal or sid in it. if its at normal switch it to sid.

    menu/system setting/system...channel no=sid

  2. Look in the intsruction book and do a rescan, reset or whatever to return the channels to the default.

Many freeview receiver, like my own, allow you to customise the channel numbering to suit you anyway. You don't have to have them in the order they are given to you.

  3. Depends on the make - there is usually an option to display the list of channels, alphabetically or by number. If that don't do it - you might need to retune. Location shouldn't make any difference (you get your signals from Crystal Palace, even though Alexandra Palace is nearer).

  4. Ive had 2 freeview boxes, the first one let you alter the channel layout and the one i have now doesn't. Go through your menu, onto channels and see if there's anything that lets you move the channels up and down in the order you want them.
