  1. Whatever makes you think that?  Have you lived in China?  I have, for three years.  At no point had I seen foreigners treated with less than courteous manner.  Looks like you are the one with the case of Sinophobia.

If you were not a troll, you would actually try to list the examples to justify your inflammatory question.  But clearly you can only yap without substance.

    Edit:

And I just found out that all the questions you posted were all related to China.  What's the matter?  Sore loser?

  2. Mable the same reason "some" crybaby foreigners take a question about Chinese and use it to attack American.

    Pathetic foreigners.

  3. Because the world turned their back on them first.

The American Naturalization act of 1870 was drafted to keep the Chinese out of America.

The White Australia Policy was drafted to keep the Chinese out of Australia.

Between 1839 and 1842 the English declared war and slaughtered the Chinese - not because they were a threat, but because they asked that England stop trafficking Opium through their borders. The treaty they were then subjected to basically gave the British free reign throughout china and caused several trade agreeements designed to take advantage of the chinese.

If they are xenophobic, then they have a very good reason. Historically they have been treated as second class citizens the world over. They have good reason to want nothing to do with the lot of us!

  4. The correct question is....why wouldn't they???

Obviously you didn’t pass your world history class.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eight-Natio...

The Eight-Nation Alliance was an alliance of 8 nations (Austria-Hungary, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States) which put down the Boxer Rebellion in China in 1900. The troops looted the capital and thousands of citizens died during the campaign.

    Why?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Opium...

The First Opium War or the First Anglo-Chinese War was fought between the British East India Company and the Qing Dynasty in China from 1839 to 1842 with the aim of forcing China to import British opium.

    Why?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Opiu...

The Second Opium War, France, UK, Russia, and the United States were the parties involved against China from 1856 to 1860.

    Why?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unequal_Tre...

Unequal Treaties is a term used in reference to the type of treaties signed by several East Asian states, including Qing Dynasty China, late Tokugawa Japan, and late Joseon Korea, with Western powers including Imperial Russia and Imperial Japan, during the 19th and early 20th centuries. This was a period during which these Asian states were largely unable to resist the military and economic pressures from foreign powers. The Chinese started referring to the 19th century 'peace treaties' as "Unequal Treaties" during the 1920s, as growing Chinese nationalism began to consolidate.

Here are just a SHORT LIST of those treaties China signed after many wars fought in the late 19th and early 20th centry.

    Twenty-One Demands 二十一條 1915 Japan

The main idea is....China did not ask for any of those wars. Those wars were bought to them. (That's not counting the world war 1 and world war 2...........If that's the history you have to learn about your country.  You would be xenophobic too.

  5. Rubbish, they are not xenophobic.

What a rediculous thing to say.

  6. look at all the hostility toward china, can you blame them?

  7. ugly people tend to shun the outside world.

  8. Probably for the same reason, that the Americans are homophobic

  9. Stop being a racist, why are you picking on the Chinese?.Is it because they are kicking azz at the Olympics?.

  10. I think you mixed up with the question.  Americans are xenophobic.

  11. No, they are not. Many Chinese don't like American because USA are  picking on them for years. Some of the picking are true but most of them are false accusations. American image is not very good internationally because they are always bullying around. I have some Aussie chef friends told me they hate American tourists the most because they are picky, don't like to tip and always think that they are number 1 and deserve special attention.

Chinese also don't like Japanese because they killed millions of Chinese during the invasion in WWII

Other than these 2 countries, I don't think Chinese have any problem with the rest of the world.

  12. Bush makes you think so~~ ?? cool~

  13. China has had a history of being xenophobic, but they're well past that now. China recognizes that it needs the outside world to survive. It's America that's now Sinophobic.

  14. Why are YOU Sinophobic?

  15. There are far more anti China comments in the media and on yahoo answers than anti-US ones. Who's the xenophobic one?

  16. Maybe the same reason Spain and Argentina are so racist towards the Chinese.

  17. I don't find them to be that afraid of strangers. They are probably just focused on their event so much that they disregard who and what is around them. Maybe that's why they are leading in the gold medals?
