Why are the commentators so biased against djokovic? ?

i was watching his match again inst robredo, and they kept insinuating about his injury. like when he twisted his ankle while running for a shot, the commentator was quick to insult with 'so is calling the trainer?' in a sarcastic tone. when the playback showed clearly he twisted his ankle, the commentator had to apologise. i think he is so unprofessional. shame on him! although i love both of them, i rooted much for djokovic from the unfair remarks against him! any thoughts?

If you have watched tennis and Djokovic play, he has many, many times in the past called a trainer for an injury he does not have to throw the other player off his timing.  He's a "drama queen" like his friend Jankovic.  They play this little game on breaks during matches to throw the other off.  Then they figure out a way to change the pace of the match.

I believe he is injured, I just dont know what injury he has.  His stamina for 5 sets is not great.  He had asthma as a teen and his breathing is a problem for him

This is why they doubt his injuries.  Also Jankovic.  They both play the "drama game", which I think sucks, because if the other guy is beating you or wearing you down, that's what the game is about.  

Also Djokovic twisted his ankle way worse in round 2 and was not worried "I have the greatest physio" is what he said and never did limp.  So you make the call......I know he uses the trainer to his advantage and knows he can call the trainer for any part of the body to be examined.  He has learned the wrong way to win, and anyway I could go on and on.  

IF YOU CANT PLAY FAIR, THEN DONT PLAY AT ALL!!!

Commentators are themselves victims of verbal diarrhea. They seem to try to impress the listener drawing attention to themselves with sensational comments. Djokovic is a brave player!

Because he's got a history of doing stuff like this ... be it for a legitimate injury or not. If he's faking, then I don't think I need to explain why he would deserve to be mocked. But if it's a real injury ... well, McEnroe has always been the proponent that fitness is as much a part of the tennis game as striking the ball with the racquet in itself. And Djokovic has had matches (including even at US Open when he wasn't the big star that he is now) where he stopped matches repeatedly to get the trainers' assitance for having cramps and stuff like this.

If a soccer player dived during a match to influence the referee, is it wrong for the commentator to say so. If you don't like the commentary, take off the volume. The commentators are payed to  be as neutral as possible. Neutral means saying positive things and negative things. Grow up.

So nice to just sit in their box and judge, critisize the players, and not expect feedback from the other media and fans.

They did this for the longest time against The Williams Sisters, as well as Justine Henin, and even though I cant stand her, to Sharapova, as well as others. They didnt "stop" against those players until they received harsh print regarding that, and since have patronized The William Sisters, as they always pacify Maria too.  No doubt Novak was injured, and not just his ankle. He was having problems with his stomach, leg, you name it, but he chose to be professional and not use any of these as an excuse, and disregard it of any  further comment.  Grant it he isnt as playful as he was when rising to the top, but he  just expects the very best out of himself at all times, and gets frustrated when not performing well, as with most other players demonstrate. Now the commentating consistently badgers about why he is so serious and non playful. Just let the guy play and do his thing.and stop being so darn critical ( the media ).

because hes the one with the hot gf, that they could never get
