  1. he thinks this is his year to shine.....if u havent notice at wimbledon.....i believe nadal is on a totally different level of tennis then everyone else.....he needs to stop be sooo d**n cocky...no body likes a cocky player

  2. He's a good player, but his EGO is BLOATED.

Like many great players, he must learn to be modest.

  3. 'Max B' He got his 'pretty girlfriend' because he is famous!! Fame is power lol and talent is attractive.

People don't like Murray because he is moody, makes rubbish excuses for poor performances,Dramatises minor injuries, Plays like he can win no matter how he approaches the matches against lesser players and quite frankly he is boring!!!!

Someone above me compared him to McEnroe, It is nothing like it!!!! McEnroe had charisma on court and played with real passion. Yes he complained alot but than is nothing like Murray.

Also the complaints maybe out of frustration in that Murray is all we have! And he is portrayed as the person I describe above.

    He also acts very spoiled.

  4. I have no problems with Andy but here are a few things that people probably don't like about him.

    1. He always looks dishevelled/untidy in appearance. People might think he should at least try to look more professional when he comes to play in tournaments.

    2. He has magnified his injuries with poor body language in the past to throw off his opponent's game. I think it was gamesmanship to an extent.  He is fitter these days and so I haven't seen that lately.

    3. A little boorish/vocal/animated on court when he loses points. I don't see a problem with that but then again for others, tennis is a gentleman's game.

    4. Fans are probably frustrated over injuries that keep him from reaching his potential. He probably has no control of that but regardless....

  5. I don't like him for the reasons stated in my question

  6. I don't like him because he has a huge ego and hasn't shown anything to back up an ego like that. He is overhyped, and he is nasty. When he threw up at Wimby, it was pretty dang nasty.

What I want to know is how he got that pretty girlfriend!

  7. Well im not a fan of Murray and im Scottish lol Theres something about him i just dont like. However in saying that im proud of what he`s achieved sooo far in his career, he is an amazing player, the way he played in Toronto was fantastic he played even better against Nadal than he did Djokovic... He is definitely got the potential to be top 5!!!

  8. Honestly i dont know what your talking about. But if people are complaining about Andy Murray at might be because he wrote a book about himself and hes only been playing for like a few years. Other than that i cant see any reaon to hate him except for his negative attitude when he plays sometimes.

  9. He (before) has had a real bad attitude on the court .....with body language and swearing, etc.  so thats why many have negative feeling over him

however i feel he has changed that demenor and who knows perhaps he could be in the top 5 i wouldnt count him out

  10. Andy Murray wrote a book about himself!!?? No way! He's more of a jerk than I thought!  I can't stand him. He shaved off those weird sideburn/beard things. He looks like he never showers, he looks real stinky. He shouts all the time and he's boorish in every possible way.

I must say, I was really surprised how well he held himself together against Nadal.

His outbursts are annoying. That has nothing to do with gentleman sport. I love Safin's fire! I love Youzhny being crazy! But they are doing it out of passion, and Murray is motivated by his huge ego. People who work off court and have to deal with him told me his ego is absolutely annoying. None of them like him. But, his brother is nicer. That's what they say.

Don't ever compare Murray to McEnroe again.

  11. I want to know the same thing.  I mean, the guy's a great player and although people might say he is moody, so was McEnroe and people still loved him.  Leave Andy alone!! :)
