Why are the days so long when you are fasting?

Is it just me or does it seem like every minute takes 2 extra minutes to pass? Do you notice how slow the day is going only because you don't eat.

yeah i know today i came from school early and i went to pray for jumma when i went home i feeled so hungry and the time was going so slow.

its because all youre thinking about is food, instead of nothing, and when you think time seems to go by much slower.

Well, find something to kill time. Read a novel, watch a movie, read the qur'an, play a game, have a chat, do your hobbies, or maybe prepare the food for later. Anything that can take your mind off food and drinks.

In Indonesia, there's an activity called "ngabuburit" which is done in some hours before magrib. We do fun stuffs like going to the mall, or looking for snacks to break the fast with, or anything to let time pass until it is time to break the fast.

i'm sorry for u sis that u feel this way..

but for me , i dont think about eating and drinking  , i just let it go..

so i dont even feel the day , but yes i feel a little bit tired and exuasted..

i hope u concentrate more on reading quran and praying , that might make u forget about the hunger , lol..
