Why are the digits in the calculator arranged in the reverse order?

they they are not confused with the telephone lol because when typing as you will notice on computer keyboard  number pad it is the same way smallest amount near hand then bigger are you go up to so it is standard. lower number closer to your touch

No its your mobile phone that are in the reverse order.  Pocket calculator came out before the first tone phones.  Think about it!! :)
