In the corner of my room there is a little Spider (I named him Terrance) and then lots of tiny flies. My question is, why are these flies so close to a predator? They are not caught in a web as they are moving all over the place.. are they just teasing him? I'm really interested as to why they are not flying away! Thank you.

  1. they're coming for you, always watch your back from now on you never know when they're going to strike

  2. Well, it's between the spider, or you....

  3. Maybe Terrance has found a way to speak fly and they've settled their differences.

Personally, I'd be freaking out, I can't handle spiders.  Ewwww

  4. Flies and spiders do not always think like us.  There is a purpose the flies are in the corner.  Food, water, some aroma, whatever.  They may or may not be aware of the presence of the spider.  At least they do not feel threatened by the spider.  The spider is also there for the food.  It is likely aware of the flies, but it could have arrived before the flies if it detected the presence of whatever brought the flies. Good luck trying to figure it all out.  Enjoy watching the results of this contest.  Be patient they sometime do things very slowly.

  5. Maybe they're suicidal?

  6. Ha! Daring little things aren't they! They are taunting him. That would suck for the flies if the spider is a jumping spider!

Edit** Remember what milly said on your other questions.. bugs are plotting revenge on the ones who kill them, well what do you think those bugs are doing hanging out together?

*** i'll let you borrow emmet so he can take care of those bugs for you. Emmet and I will open up a Er..  exterminator company.

edit You better watch your back real good. First you have a stalker and now bugs plotting revenge on you.

    NEWEST EDIT!! =/

Soph.. their plan is in action thats why you dont see half of his members! Sleep with your eyes open! What time is it where you live anyway?? Late?

  7. I would get up, find a huge piece of paper and kill the sucker.

or it can have your bed and you can hang out in the corner on the ceiling..

its you or the spider, do you want to give up your nice bed......

have a good night, sleep tight, with one eye open.....

  8. I think it's pay back time!

Those are the reincarnated insects that you have previously squished.

They are back with a vengeance, plotting their next move.

Reincarnated insects come back as an insect army, not to kill each other, but to reek revenge on the squishers.

Be careful, be very, very careful, pray for forgiveness and you may be spared!  lol

I speak from experience, I too was a squisher, and learnt the error of my ways, now I bow to the little creatures, all hail the little creatures. lol
