  3. Who cares? The queen doesn't do anything anyway, except cause a large tax burden on everyone in England, and they've gotta be pretty boring.  Might also be the same reason no one sings the last few verses of the U.S. National Anthem.

  6. I would imagine listening to the anthem as much as The Queen does it wears on her. I think we use an abbreviated version in most cases for the sake of efficiency.
