Why are the games areas so small and the message area so large on yahoo games(not good on eyes)?

Question

Trying to play MahJong Solitaire and board area is so small the tiles are hard to see and the message area is too large, needs to be the other way around to me.

Do you have the Internet view text size set to a large size?  Might not help, but when I just changed it here, the Answer box got a bit bigger when I changed from medium to large text size.  Good luck, hope you work it out.
