Why are the kids in middle school waking up earlier?

It is gonna my first year in middle school and I wanna know why did they change the hours of middle school? Are they just trying to torture us? It's pointless!!!

When I was in grade school I went to school 'round 9:45AM

When I was in middle school, it started around 7:30ish

I'm now in High School and they're starting at 9:30ish

u get up earlier so u start sooner and get out sooner most middle schools are out between 2:00-2:30. ur growing up get used to it, it doesnt get any later unless ur a night worker or a bum in ur parents house

Middle school where I am has always started earlier than grade school.  My daughter had to be at the bus stop at 7:30.  She is now going into high school and her bus will come at 6:35!

Yes, you are right, we decided that you did not have enough pain in your lives and all got together to figure out what the worst thing that could possibly happen to you.

It was decided that destroying your cell phones was not the answer since your parents pay monthly for those.

The idea came up that you need to be at least a high schooler to be on YA!, but since the 13yr old rule is ignored that didn't seem to be punishment enough.

Finally some guy in Russian named Yorgi, suggested that all middle school students wake up earlier...

We agreed and there you are, the perfect torture!

It haven't changed where I live.  The middle school kids and elementary kids have to be at school at 8 o'clock but the high school kids have to be at school at 8:30.

in my school, the older the kids in your school is, the earlier you wake up because each school has to share the school buses. so for example: the high school gets on the buses at around 5:30AM, the middle school get on at around 7:00AM and the elementary and primary, around 8:30AM. its just the systematic ways of school budgets.

My school starts at 9:40 and gets out at 4:15. I don't know when you start, but I hope you get out earlier than me.

I'd rather wake up early. You can't get homework done until about 6 when we get out so late.

In elementary I had to be there about 9:30 got out 3:30

My old middle school was 7:45- 2:15

My middle school was 8:05-2:45

My high school is 7:45-2:15

My elementary and old middle school were in a different county..But in that same county another middle school had to be there about 8:15

I don't think my school hours changed.They are 9:00am-4:15pm

I hate it. I wish it was 8:00-2:30

The school hours here are about 8:45 to 4:00 with before and after school activities, I don't need to get up, but my mum makes me!
