Question:

Why are the leaves falling off my lemon tree?

I have two lemon trees I just purchase, one is doing great, the other is losing all its leaves. They are right next to each other with the same amount of sun and water. I havent noticed bugs on any of my plants. The branches are still green for the most part, a few are turning a little brown toward soil. How do I know if the plant is completely dead?

By the way, this is my first tree with a lemon tree and I dont know much about them!

  1. I had a moringa plant just outside my window. Infact four of them. Last two months I noticed the 3rd had bent his head and was going kinda lemon colored. No disease was seen or bugs. After a few days I moved it to another spot.

I had reasoned from that the tap root was being blocked from sinking deeper.

I was right. First he lost all his leaves then started growing them again. Now he is blooming like the others.Try this...

Dig a sizable hole one evening. Fill it full with water. Dig up the lemon tree and transplant with the earth still around it (Just like you did when you did the first time).

  2. You are overwtaering it ...also make sure it has good drainage  where ever it is at..and if by chance you used a cheap grade potting soil or topsoil... repot it for that junk gets too dense and smothers the roots giving it root rot...
