  2. It depends on what part of the county you live in.The nights are getting shorter,So your season will be coming to a end.I live a valley in california and the tomato havest has just started.But I can see that the leaves on those tomatoes are brown.

Tomato plants have a life cycle and once the fruits (tomatoes) are all produced and start ripening, the plant starts dying.  It's no big deal...just keep watering them occasionally and pick the tomatoes as they start to ripen or leave them to ripen fully on the plant.  The choice about that is yours.  If you end up with tomatoes at the end of the season that still haven't ripened, you can look up a few recipes for using green tomatoes (they're very good fried!).


  4. It could be that it's the end of the season or the tomato plants could have a disease. You could try spraying them with fungicide.
