Why are the majority of women rubbish at reverse parking?

It is actually taken from a recent UK survey, that one of the biggest problems women drivers have is reverse parking

Sure, SOME women may be bad drivers, but SOME men are too!

That doesn't mean the entire female population cannot drive or reverse park.

i have no problem with it but have seena few men struggling. maybe men just dont like to admit to a reverse parking accident!

Im actually very good at reverse parking - Its all about spacial awareness and knowing your car!

Firstly, you should quote your source. Your question is clearly written to inflame, by using the non-technical adjective 'rubbish'.

Secondly men and women are good at different things - women tend to be better at multi-tasking, while men tend to be better at focusing on one thing.

It doesn't have to be a competition to slag each other off. We're just different.

Hmmmmm  in my personal experience (sorry guys) women are just as good a drivers as men.  Some cars have quite thick rear pillars / quarter panel areas and made produce a substantial blind spot for petite women.

its something to do with spatial awareness, men have better spatial awareness than women do, hence and i dont mean this to be sexist but women tend to have more scrapes on their bumpers and wheel trims/alloys than men do. although saying that i know some pretty rubbish male drivers!

Colin T is quite right too - a lot of problems reversing are caused by large pillars in modern cars - making the car safer in a crash, however, making crashes in reverse more easy!!!

Please Please Please put a link on to the survey you read, and if not, at least mention the name of the publication you read the results of this survey in!

Put it this way, noone asked me and my partner if we could reverse park as it would have been 50:50!

I've known women who had ability to reverse themselves and some of

them did it with a vehicle.  There are women in the USA who've used

reverse gear and circled to run over a spouse several times.  Assume

UK males are likely "rubbished" too.
