Why are the nicer phones easier to break?

My cheap phone is a beast, and it is bulky, but the battery will last for days or maybe even a week, and I can drop it a million times and it will be okay. with a blackberry, or with a sidekick, it looks really cool, but the battery doesn't really last long, and it is pretty delicate. why do they make the more expensive ones more fragile?? My theory is that so if you drop the expensive one, you can buy another one, and they can make more money. But that is just what I think. What do you think?

  1. I think one part is that you have to buy a new one when it breaks, and another part is that they want the new ones to have as many gadgets as possible and look as cool as possible and then the quality and how well they hold is further down the list. People want cool and good looking things and they get it without thinking about quality. More $$$ for the company.
