  2. Bcos the Olympics was started by the Greeks. In great Roman tradition, when the Olympics was adapted to the modern world, the tradition of Greece is honoured from the marching in, the flag ceremony to the numerical displays.

  3. Because they want to keep yokels, yahoos, burros, & hicks as dumb  as possible, and keep you guessing. (Oh and Olympics started in Greece not Rome-in 89 b.c. or there about)

  4. because thats where they started in athens and now they keep up the tradition to show people the olympics roots. also they always raise the greek flag and the greek team always come out first in the marching thing in the opening ceremony
