  1. Read your YA News.  Some fellow has invented a conversion unit for trucks and automobiles to turn your existing vehicle into a hybrid.  He tried to sell it to GM 10 years ago, but they weren't interested.  He said it takes about an hour to install and costs about a thousand dollars.  That is the best way to fight them.  Make them irrelevant.

  2. There's only so much that can be done, without making matters worse.

  3. The answer to this is simple, many people (myself included) all  had tried to warn you guy's in the US last year this was going to happen.

Only it fell on deaf ignorant ears, now it's happened a lot of you want to do something about it. By Halloween it's going to get a h**l of a lot worse for everyone in the US.

Theres only about six weeks of Summer left before the cold weather comes back and  you'll get hit with the winter heating bills which also have increased on top of the gas and food  costs.

With the 2000 patriot laws, Americans can no longer protest towards the government unless they want to spend unlimited time in a prison and legally tortured as being a terrorist who's against the US government under the patriot act.

This is why Americans aren't standing up to the government and most think praying or getting a new president is going to change whats currently happening.

Sorry to tell you it wont, I can suggest that you tighten all your spending as much as you can and get your CV together and yourself a job overseas before the rough ride thats coming for the next couple of years.

  4. The majority of people in this country just sit back expecting our corrupt Government to be "all".  I for one consider everyone of our Politicians TRAITORS for selling this Country out, for NOT doing what they should, for NOT actually working for "we the people", all the while listening and believing in their pockets, lobbyists, and the higher reins of corporate America.

VOTE SMART PEOPLE.  VOTE 3rd PARTY IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET YOUR GOVERNMENT BACK!!!!!

  5. I pissed at the price of bottled water....American brothers revolt!  Stand Up and Fight!  March on Washington and the water bottlers and demand your right to cheap water!

Hello - Econ101, its called supply and demand.  Remember, its liberals to blame for the cost of gas....Drill here, drill now!

  6. Thank you for making a lot of sense. To bad more people do not believe as you do. If they did we would not have these problems. Keep up the good work man.

  7. We could use electric cars and plug in hybrids if we had the generating capacity to provide all of the additional electricity that would be required.

The only affordable source of electricity  that is  dependable, affordable and does not produce greenhouse gases in nuclear power.

In the past political pressures have prevented the building of nuclear power plants.

It is about time that those of use who are tired of paying obscenely high gasoline prices to let our Comgresspersons and Senators know that we want nuclear power now.

The opposents will say that we have no place to put the nuclear waste and that nuclear power plants are not safe.

Neither of those objections are true.

In the Unite dStates we have over 100 nuclear power plants that have been operating safely for years.

France gets over 80% of it's electricity from nuclear power.

With respect to the issue of nuclear waste, if we reprocess and recycle the spent fuel rods to produce more nuclear fuel, that eilimiantes over 95% of the waste.

A msiguided Federal law makes it illegal to reprocess spent nuclear fuel rods. This law needs to be rescinded. That law essentially creates unnecessary waste.

Also some people point out that Uranium is a finite source like oil.

However a nuclear power plant can be operated to produce more nuclear fuel than it consumes if the spent fuel rods are reprocessed and recycled.

The supply of nuclear fuel becomes inexhaustible.

The cost to produce electricity by a nuclear power plant is approximately 3 cents per kilowatt hour. That is less than the other competing methods of producing electricity.

The cost of electricity for an electric car or a plug in hybrid is less than the equivalent of $1.00 for a gallon of gasoline if nuclear power is used to produce the electricity.

However if solar photovoltaic cells are used to peoduce the electricity the cost of production is over ten times higher.

Then the equivalent cost becomes $10.00 per gallon of gasoline if solar power is used, instead of $1.00 if a nuclear power plant is used to generate the electricity.
