Why are the people on here so ready to answer questions, that are controversial, yet do not allow IM ?

Because we feel that what happens in YA stays in YA. I allow email but it goes to a junk account that I check once in a while.

Because we feel that it is none of your business...and not just anyone.... it's "YOU" specifically.

Why should we have to waste our time talking to people who want to IM?  That's ridiculous!  We come here to be helpful, but we don't owe our lives to these people.  We aren't their paid therapists or something.

because all we want to do is answer a d**n question .. give our opinion like the asker wanted without getting hounded by weird people with too much time on their hands who are trying to change or challenge our personal views

these people are called stalkers and should be banned from IMing anyone!

since you want to do this.. then im guessing you are one of them :) lol

Why can't you just say what you want here?  Why would you IM a stranger anyway?

I hate IM, I don't even IM with my friends.

Because they don't mind putting in their opinions but don't want to have to defend them on their IM during their own time.  I mean, I can't say I haven't done the same on some questions... I go on here to give my input, not to have someone debate with me, I have enough of that in my personal life, lol!
