Why are the people (some teachers,college students) so DUMB on "JAYWALKING" with JAY LENO?

I cannot believe how really dumb some of the people are to ordinary questions. Like calling COLIN POWELL vice president CHANEY when shown a picture. "BEWARE" THEY WALK AMONG US.

I think it's fake.  If you've ever seen the competition ones, it just seems to me to be fake.
