Why are the "hottentot venus"people different like this?

I mean why are they different like this. There physique is very weird compared to most of the word and the vaginia looks so weird. Does this mean they are a sub race? Does this mean they isaloated themselves genetically from much of the other humans for so long they almost became a whole seperate human specie? why are they so different and whats the purpose of some of there different chracteristics? Like why is there buttocks so oval an lifted instead of more round like ours? Why they have there vaginia loooking like a p***s ?

Steatopygia (I think) is storing fat on their rear end.  By storing fat there, they are still able to cool themselves effectively and still maintain a store of fat to help through bad times.  Not sure about the other things

Note that these are DRAWINGS - not photographs.  I've actually seen worse.  These types of drawings were very popular in the 1700s and 1800s - they were (intentionally or unintentionally) distorted in order to increase the differences between Europeans and Africans.  

As far as the v****a - in some cultures in Africa, weights were hung from the labia to artificially elongate them.  It was a cultural beauty practice.

The Hottentot Venus, discovered in the southern part of Africa in the zenith of colonial expansion, drew its fame from its use, more than its physiology as a case. This, along with other instances of physical difference among Africans, was effectively used in what was called afterwards  'scientific racism', and indeed it was.
