  1. anatomy is how the organs/ body works.

physiology is where the organs, bones, etc. are at.  that is why they are taught together.... you need to know where the organ is and what it looks like or else you may do something to the wrong thing.

  2. Actually, Dreams of Flight and Fancy, it's the other way around. Anatomy is the analysis of body structures, and you would think that after all this time there are no new structures left to be found, but this is not so. It was only recently discovered that women's feet are not just smaller than men's, but also somewhat differently shaped. And whether or not there is a G spot is still a subject of fierce debate.

Physiology tells you what an organ does - for example, the liver has over 500 functions. It also looks at how organs fit into systems and how the systems relate to each other (there are 11 organ systems in the body).

  3. Systematic biology, form or shape should tell you something about function of an object, function of an object should tell you something about where it should be located, location and amount of the same object should tell you about the information the object possesses or sends to the objects surroundings.

Anatomy, the study of the shape and location of things biological.  Physiology, the study of how the biological things work.
