Why are the uk always last to get new releases for video games?

I'm really annoyed now why are we always last?

Because the UK is in Europe, there are more languages in this one continent than anywhere else, and games have to be programmed with all the languages for the region it is being released in, which is why it takes longer.

However, nowadays, the wait is not too bad. Just 10 years ago, some games would take over a year to be released in the UK after their Japan debut. More likely now it is only the case of a few weeks, or days, and sometimes exactly the same time, such as happened with GTA4 and Halo 3.

Because we dont make video games. Japan and America make them, so they are released there first. We arn't the last place to get them either ( most of the time ) Austrailia is usually behind us in geting new releases.

haha family guy. i basically because japan makes the games first, then ships them to usa, who change the language etc, then release it there. then uk gets it, along with other english speaking countries and europe. so really it's europe that get's 'em last. annoying i know
