Why are the used xbox360 so cheap?

I sold my 360 months ago due to money problems and now that i have money would like to buy it again. I looked at game stop for a used one its only $199.99 why are they so cheap all of the suden? Last one i owned i bought it used as well for $239.99

There are a couple of reasons.

#1 They have been used, so they are not brand new.

#2 The price has gone down. If you bought a brand new one when the first came out, they were in demand, and, expensive. Probably $600. Now they are like $450.

#3 The new and improved x-box system has come out (x-box elite). It has more memory, runs faster, has a better cooling system, and is black. So that will put down the price even more.

There is only a $40.00 different in the one you bought than the

one you saw in the shop.....I see no big deal....

Several reasons for this.....

One)

What condition was the one in the shop you saw??

Did it have a lot of scratches on it?? Is the

lettering faded on the unit?? Does it have all

the necessary wire attachments that goes with

this unit?? Is the original box with it??

Two)

Maybe, when you bought your original USED unit there

probably were not that many xbox360 available.

Now, there are probably more out there and more

used units.  Nothing to worry about.
