  1. The modeen style of living has way too many distractions thus the youngsters have many problems with concentrations. Also, th intense cmpetiton ahs led to this. However the following tips may fall handy.

    1. Do a bit of everything so that you work as well as enjoy.

    2. Have loads of vitamin C. This is known to be the concentration vitamin.

    3. Have abundant water.

    4. Set goals that are realistic and make sure you proceed slowly.

  2. i don't know why but a recent study has been done and they say what kids eat effects their concentration a ton ! They said by eating things like eggs for protein and fruits before an exam can improve their test score:D

  3. Each individual has a learning style. The individual could be a visual learner, auditory learner, tactile learner, or a combination of each.

As an educator, we need to identify their specific learning styles, and take advantage of this to get their attention as well as concentration.

  4. sugar n salt intake

  5. They're all hyped up on jolly ranchers and Coke.Take away the candy, and all the sweet distratctions untill work is done.

  6. I don't think youngsters are taught how to concentrate. It's not seen as valuable a quality as it used to.  When I was in middle school the subjects of the day flew by so fast that as soon as you were really comprehending something and getting down to a project or assignment, the subject would change, you'd have to put all your notes on that away and start a new subject. The world is soo fast paced that spending a concentrated amount of time on something is percieved as not being productive enough. Also, does quiet time even exist anymore? Nothing in our modern world actually shuts down anymore. There was a time when the radio went off air at midnight. There wasn't TV and a huge consumer market.  Too much overstimulation pulling attention this way and that.

Activities that encourage patience and concentration need to be integrated back into children's lives.  Things like sewing, painting, model making, puzzles, even food preparation or creative writing would help.
