Why are their some spoiled women?

why do some women go mad if their man buys them a cheap diamond engagement ring? why cant some women just appreciate for once? and do you know how much those things cost?!?

When I Was Picking My Ring Out, I Said To My Fiance "I'll Get What You Can Afford, I Don't Want You Getting Into Debt For This Thing" & The Woman In The Jeweller Said "You Don't Hear Many Women Say That. Most Younger Women Wan't The Biggest, Shiniest Ring They See, Even If Their Fiance Can't Afford It."

I have no clue. when my hubby proposed he had a tiny ring, and wedding band... but it was stolen.. I bought myself a new set last year.. I'm going to switch over to an anniversary band for our 10th wedding anniversary.

It depends.  If the guy is buying what he can afford, then she is being petty and unreasonable.  If the guy got a cheap diamond because he is a penny-pinching cheapskate who puts himself first, then she is probably mad with good cause.

Some women have the dumb idea in their head that the bigger the rock, the more he must love me. Too many women (not all of us) these days care more about the ring itself than the meaning behind it. Pretty selfish really.

I agree. My fiance and I just bought my engagement ring today. It's a ruby with some diamond accents on the side. Total bill? $359.00. And this was my dream ring! The price shouldn't matter. Whether it's $20,000 or $15. If the intent is good, then appreciation should follow.

I have no idea. I dont know how men can stand us some times. You should appreciate what we have.  It seems you had a bad experience with a women. I guess she needs buy it herself then.

If he cud afford a better one then yea I'd be pissed. If you can save for all the gazmos and gidgets u want and can't get me a nice engagement ring I'll be wearing for all eternity then I'd be pretty peeved at you. And yes I know how much they cost.

well it depends.. if the guy can acctuall spend the money on a nice ring and desides not to then i would be upset because i would feel like he didnt feel like i was worth the money. but like my boyfriend if he ever would by me a ring i know that he doesnt have that much money anyways so i will be okay with whatever he bought me. i am not selfish at all and i appreciate what my boyfriend does for me. so for you to generalize that all women are spoiled is very unfair. i work for what ever i want. yes it would be nice for my bf to buy me a lot of things but i know he would if he could.

Mine was $2000 so I wouldnt say it was cheap, my husband wanted to get me a 2 karat princess cut and I told him no way not until we are older I would be too afraid I would lose it. So I ended up with a half karat certified princess cut diamond. I love what I have, and it better then anything any of my friends have, plus as long as I keep going into the jewelry store every 6 months for it to be inspected, we can always upgrade later on, and just pay the upgrade value. I love my husband and I never cared how big my engagement ring costs, I love him not my ring...even though it is beautiful :)
