  1. The blind person could be passenger and must have access to a service that is also similarly accessible to one who is sighted, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  2. Because technically drive through ATM's can be used like walk up ATM's so legally they have to have the same functions. Also, say you are driving a blind person around. If they are in the back seat on the drivers side you can pull up and they can access the ATM from their window or get out.

  3. So all the blind S. O. B. 's driving cars (if you ride a bike on the street, you know what I'm talkin' 'bout!) can use the ATM too!

  4. same keypad no matter where the bank decides to install it.   easier for the manufacturer and the bank.  they dont drive anyways,  so those people that said blind people drive are IDIOTS.

  5. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA..... They may be walking aimlessly and happen to run into the wall there and be like "hmmm... what's this? O! It's a bank better keep walking!"

  6. For blind drivers, of course

(for anyone who can't see that this is SARCASM!!!!, you must be an IDIOT yourself)

  7. I imagine that the keypads they use on one atm is the same as a keypad on another, since non driveup atms need braille it comes along on the driveup machines.  If they had to buy a different type keypad for each then they would not get the biggest bulk discount possible on parts.

  8. its called mass production. it would make no sense to put braille on a machine at wally mart, but then the identical machine goes to a drive through and now the mfg. has to retool the production line to leave the braille off. do you have anything important to do.

  9. All of these are made the same both for the blind as well as for those that can see, it is cheaper for just one style to be made and also there are on occasions that a blind person will need to use this if he or she in in the vehicles passengers seat or in the back seat..
