  1. Raccoons are found across southern Canada, throughout most of the United States, and into northern South America. They have been introduced to parts of Asia and Europe and are now widely distributed there as well. (Nowak, 1991; Wilson and Ruff, 1999)


  2. i have no idea, but w/o them, i think my community would die. alot of people down here eat them [southern usa], but they do get annoying when they get into your stuff & eat your garbage. ahahhaaha. i wonder why, life without them seems weird!

  3. It's probably a bit north of their native range.  They tend to like more southern locales.  We have lots of them in Ohio.

  5. Did Alberta ban garbage cans on curbs? That's what raccoons look for in a habitat, I think.
