I've noticed that a few Wendy's locations have closed in the Sacramento area.Lately as I drive by,I see a Wendy's location that was open recently closed up for good.Has anyone else noticed this, either in the Sacramento area or in their own area, and why do you suppose that is?

  1. maybe the tomatoe disease =]

  2. restaurants close because theyy are not making the money they were expecting at that location

  3. Restaurants are a tough business and they may not have had enough traffic. High fuel costs and people losing their homes are probably contributing factors. Arby's did buy them out and it might be part of a restructuring plan?

  4. the cost of the franchise is very high it's hard to recoup the money ,,,, sit down restaurants are much better  with hot food etc.

  5. Didn't Arby's buy out Wendy's?

Or maybe it was vice versa...

  6. i live in the seacoast area of new hampshire, and i've noticed the same thing. there are only two left in a 20-mile radius of my house, where there used to be 5.

i'm not sure why this is, but wendy's is my favorite fast food restaurant ever! i hope they don't all go out of business
