Why are there always more orange and yellow sweets?

Fruit pastilles, skittles, jelly babies, etc, there are always more orange and yellow ones than any other colour? WHY?!

I always like the purple and green ones, especially

from Fruit Pastilles.

I think the orange and yellow sweets are put there

to annoy us !

Well, there aren't any orange or yellow sweets in my bag of humbugs. Am I missing out here?
