  1. That isn't the dumbest one, I drove up to an ATM and it had a message on the screen that if I needed assistance for the blind to press 1.


  2. You can "walk" up to an ATM to use it - you don't always have to drive up to them. Blind people and people who are partially blind or vision impaired sometimes know how to read braille and therefore will use it to assist them with directions.

  3. Because the keypads are mass-produced. They use the same keypad, regardless of what ATM it goes to.
