  1. it's not.  common morality is governed to a great degree by culture.

  2. The plan of the enemy to confuse the seekers of truth.

  3. Because morality is (somewhat) inherent in our species.

  4. you can't fool all of the people all of the time....

  5. Morality is all the same, but people disagree on what it is and how to find out what it is.

  6. i guess its because it happened so long ago storys probably got slightly altered...........but there all bacicaly the same. they all include a god or creator, and peace and love and stuff........budha, god, etc.

  7. Common morality is not all the same.  In some Middle Eastern countries, for example, it's considered immoral for a woman to be in the company of any male other than a family member.  China and India have their own views of what's immoral too as do many other countries and cultures.

  8. Who says common morality is all the same?

    *curious*

(And there are different religions because of geographical isolation during formation of different societies.  They all came up with their own stories.)

  9. Common morality stems from absolute truth.

  10. Humans have common morality, because communities need to survive. Killing is bad because it may destroy the population. Stealing is bad because it may lead to killing. Do not pray/bow to other gods (this was a control law). Honor your parents (another control law).

These are how Bronze and Iron Age societies worked. Although not all cultures followed or had the same laws within their societies.

  11. You are right. The underlying morality is all the same and the Original message was all the same. It is the ignorance of the followers that have made the different religions.

    You are right on target.

  12. Common morality is not the same for all people

    they all differ

Different religions are man made and man always wants to change God
