Why are there gerkins in Big macs?

  1. As an American -- it's slices of sweet pickle, similar to putting a sweet pickle relish on your burger.  What makes a Big Mac, tho, is the sauce..... hard to duplicate.


  2. i think its because they have so much sugar in them they need to put a gerkin in it so its not classed as a desert!
