Why are there large black ants in my bedroom?

I'm a very clean person.

I vaccum once a week.

I don't eat in my bedroom nor do I leave drinks in it when I'm not drinking them.

I keep my floors clean, trash in the trash, dirty clothes in a dirty clothes hamper, yet I have killed 4 large black ants in my bedroom over the last 2 days.

Why are they in my room?

If they are looking for food, why are there so many in the room that doesn't have any food?

I live in the top floor of an apartment.

No one lives in the apartment below us. There isn't an apartment above us. And I haven't seen any in the kithen or bathroom and both of those rooms are the one's with walls touching the people who live next to us.

Yeah it the wood ants.  Buy some traps and set them near the windows.

cause thats how they came in that doesnt mean your dirty  now you have to get rid of the pest

carpenter ants.......they eat damp wood.......have it checked...
