  1. Hello,

(ANS) Women tend on the whole to be safer drivers than men (OK I'm generalizing here), Why? because women are NOT trying to be MACHO, or aggressive, or score points against other drivers in the way men often do.

**Women don't see the road as a race track as men do, nor the traffic lights as the starting grid!! Women don't see driving as a race like many men do. (boy racers of this world).

**Women are NOT as highly competitive or as reactive or impulsive as many men are when behind a steering wheel.

**Because most women dont know how to drive.? NON SENSE!! SEXIST TWADDLE!! there are some women drivers who would nock the socks off most male drivers in any competition.

NEVER EVER UNDERESTIMATE WOMEN!! YOU MIGHT JUST BE IN FOR THE BIGGEST SHOCK OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU DO!!

    Ivan

  2. Men, tend to drive more aggressively than women and display their aggression in a direct manner, rather than indirectly.

Furthermore, as a rule of thumb, male drivers are more likely than women to break the law, and the male of the species tends to be more of a risk-taker.

Men typically drive more miles than women and engage more often in risky driving practices including not using a safety belt… and speeding...................................

  3. That's pretty sexist. Women take the exact same driving test as men. There are terrible male drivers and terrible women drivers, as well as very good drivers of both gender. It just tends to be that men are more likely to take risks when driving, particularly with speeding. Hence more insurance claims by males, (especially for write-offs or serious accidents) which is why women are called "safer-drivers" by insurance companies, and why they therefore get lower insurance quotes.

  4. Because there are some very good careful women drivers although some of the younger ones are beginning to be a problem.

  5. Your a bit of a prat arent you?

I am a f**cking fantastic woman driver. I can reverse park in one go and do a real 3 point turn (not a 5 or 7 point). Being the prat you are I would probably have to take you on a drive to convince you! I have never had a crash in my 7 years of driving.

  6. now how did u come to that conclusion

  7. How does your question even make sense.  Do you realize that you have contradicted yourself?

  8. because statisticly there are more male drivers on the road. if there was an equal number of male and female drivers, the insurers would'nt insure the females, so they should count themselves lucky.

  9. im learning to drive at the moment

and my instructor said its because women react to the situation faster, and we make more observations... whereas guys just panic.

  10. most women are far more respectful for other road users and they don't act like boy racers

  11. women are class that's why and we aren't as aggressive as men are and we can drive you div

  12. Because they drive slowly, but when it comes to stupid accidents I think girls win. I mean Who does make up when they drive, or text, or are in a completely different world and give a d**n about the stopped car in front of them.

  13. most women only drive between 8-930 am and 3-5pm

at these times the stats are about equal between men and women

at all othertimes men mostly dominate the male/female balance

where there are the same amount of accidents

the driving industry is still dominated by males and there are alot of company vehicles on the road

if you looked at the percentage of accidents involving women on the road  it would be far higher than the same cross reference of men

truth is that men and women are about equal in accident stats

so the women being safer drivers  arguement is rubush

when in reality less women on the roads is the real answer

  14. My goodness old chap, you've really stirred up the gels, what? Some of their answers are quite strident, eh, what? One would think they'd be happy at home, pregnant and barefoot, but apparently not. Next thing they'll be demanding the vote, What? Right I'm off back to the regiment now, eh, what?

  15. Statistically it is because they drive less distance and are therefore less likely to be involved in an accident.

  16. If there  are fewer accidents with women I think that would suggest they DO know how to drive.

Why are there trees in my cereal? Are they dancing pines?

Your questions seem to be unrelated and illogical.

  17. haha yes very funny! i do find we prob are more curtious on the rd & are not boy racery but sayin that you can get some gill the girls too! but we are not so in a rush i suppose but you can get some divs on the rd who haven't got a clue!!

  18. Here in Massachussetts a recent study showed that teenage girls and boys are both pretty bad drivers, but for different reasons. Boys like to speed and show off, girls are too distracted talking on their cell phones or talking to friends in the car. I think both genders need longer training and a longer permit period.

  19. Apparently you don't know many women...females drive just fine (that's why they have drivers licenses dear). Women, in general, are less agressive drivers than men and take fewer chances...and less prone to 'road rage' so accident rates tend to be lower.

Also, those Moms with kids in the car are more likely than just about any other driver, to be more cautious when on the road.

Just because someone doesn't do something the way you do or would, doesn't mean they don't know how to do it.

  20. There are a couple of things that are more applicable to us males..One is a competitive attitude and the other is ego.

Most race car drivers are male...One can see that aspect of men at any intersection...Light turns green and 'wham' - away they go!...Who can get across the intersection first or to the next light?...On the highway, looks who's always in the #1 lane blowing everyone off the road...Ego - I can make this baby doll go anywhere as fast as I want (I saw it on the commercial).

On the other hand, I believe that generally speaking, women are more rational and cautious behind the wheel.

    No substantiations, just observations.

    All the best.
