I feel lousy: so if you jump from 3000 feet wearing a life jacket, will you still be ok, if you landed on water............?

  1. its just for show.. like if were gonna die were gonna die.. no jacket will save us !!..

  2. Because they know Superman will be there to save the day

    LOL

  3. Altitude, friend.

If you were to bail out at 20-30,000 feet, you'll be dead anyway.

  4. Why is this under "Ramadan"?

  5. hm..i agree

    *stomps feet*...i want parachutes!!!

  6. I agree with 'I Feel Lousy"....she makes sense. :-)

  7. 3/4 of earth is water. Higher probability of you crashing (and drowning) into the sea then on crashing into land...

edit: No, The plane would dive into the water, then float for about 30 seconds, so if you can get out in the 30 second before its down under, then you'll want to swim/float.

  8. Because the worst case scenario is crash landing your airplane in the sea or ocean (over water bodies) not land masses.

  9. There isn't enough time for everyone to jump out of a plane that fast.

Plus, if u crash in the water, there's a big chance that u can survive with life jackets and swimming abilities.

  10. Plane is too high up for the parachutes....you'll freeze / suffocate before you land.

The life jackets are for once the plane has landed(crashed)......if its on land, you're screwed no matter water.   Water, then you can float for a bit.
