Why are there lines going up my tv?

when i change channels or have the cable box off and the tv is on i have lines. all connections are fine is it my tv or the cable box also when the cable box volume is low and the tv volume is high it hums

  1. Has it always done this?

    I would check with the manufacturer ( or check your vhold ).


  2. Im not 100% sure, but have you tried making sure all the cables are all pushed in correctly?

O THIS IS VERY FRIEQUENT IN SOME TV'S..WHAT KIND OF TV DO U HAVE.IF IT IS OLD THEN ITZ FREQUENT IN SOME CASES..BUT IF IT IS NEW TRY ADDING A 4.3 GIGABYTE OR IF THE GIGABYTE DOESNT WORK TRY ADJUSTING YOUR CABLE BOX...MAKE SURE UR CABLE BOX IS NOT NEAR ANY WIRES (KEEP CABLE  BOX 3FT AWAY FROM ANY WIRES...BCUZ IF THE CABLE BOX IS NEAR ANY WIRES,THAT MIGHT AFFECT YOUR CONNECTION AND IT MAY DAMAGE OR MESS UP UR CABLE BOX..ITZ NOT REALLY UR TV'S   FAULT ITZ MAYB THE WIRES AND YOUR CABLE BOX R GETING DIFFERENT CONNECTIONS.UR CABLE BOX IS IS JUST INTERFERING WITH UR WIRES ELECTRONIC OR NEGATIVE STATIC ELECTRICITY .WELL,I HOPE I HELPED

  4. it must be the cable... the wire may be the cause. or your positioning of you antenna remove it..

  5. probably your cable, try installing a filter where it goes into the box or tv, you can purchase one at most electronic retailers

  6. unplug the AERIAL cable (normally white) and plug it back in  2 minutes,

  7. This happened my my TV. It means it time to throw your TV because the lines will keep getting worse. I reccomed getting a new one with a very good company I reccomed a Samsung!! Really Really good quality
