Why are there no Olympic quality black swimmers, is it bone density or similar?

  3. First of all, Cullen Jones won a gold medal for the USA, so to say that there are NO Olympic quality black swimmers is false. Secondly, it's just not a sport that many black athletes consider since there hasn't been a real history of emphasis of that sport for them historically. Cullen Jones and other black swimmers are really trying to change that and are working to raise the profile of swimming in the black community through several different organizations.

  4. The tall ones with big feet are all playing basketball. None left to swim.

  5. Um... There are... One was on the gold medal winning 4x100m free relay.

    Check out 'PDR Swimming' on Google. They are an almost all African American club from the Philadelphia area. I've been to several US invitational meets where this team has been there. They are OUTSTANDING.

  6. My question to you is why you don't see many black atheltes in the field events?  Reason........I don't know.
