  1. That's no basis for UN sanctions, and at least China is trying to curb that problem.  As for India, it's not their fault I guess.

  2. Why would the UN sanction a country for having more people than another country?

  3. There are no laws in any country limiting the amount of children a person can have. Even if such a government did exist, that would bring the idea up, China as a member of the security council would and could veto it. If we are asking hypothetical why don't western countries require people take a class on child rearing before allowing any child into a home where they might be abused? Although these might seem legitimate ideas, they do the one thing our country entered wars and many of our citizens died for. and that is not taking away basic civil liberties.

  4. You would make a great communist or maybe fascist. No one has the right to say how many children anyone has.  We don't deny all the uneducated people in Britain and US from having children.  Maybe you should rethink your premise.

  5. Actually China is the only country I know of that does VERY DIRECTLY address overpopulation in terms of absolutely directing how many children their citizens may have.

Where India is concerned no one can begin to conscientiously sanction them for lack of population control when they retain the "caste system" which allows the members of their very lowest "castes" to be raped and / or murdered with absolute (and I really mean absolute) immunity.

  6. The UN does not have sovereign rule over these countries.  They can not dictate how many people should be living in those countries.
