  1. If you think about it, the Olympics have events of some degree of physical exertion (even things like dressage and yatching)

    Billiards isn't

  2. Its not a fricken sport

  3. there is no bowling, darts, or other cool events like that either

  4. For the same reason checkers isn't in the olympics.

    It's not a sport. It's a game.

  5. the olympics r only for sports that have been out for a long time and that most countries are atleast equally good some countries r way ahead of others like for instance saudi arabia would lose and america would probably get all silver or gold medals

  6. Haha, why not poker?

  7. get billiards in!

and aswell, lets add all the other boring, tedious 'sports' no one watches/cares about!

  8. Because the IOC sucks, they plan on taking softball out next olympics. And to the person who said it's not a sport because it doesn't require any athleticism, you're right its not a sport its a game but neither is curling, ping pong (well a little in pong) etc., etc., and these games are held at the olympics.

  9. Because it's not a sport and requires absolutly no phsical ability.

  10. it's not an athletic event. it takes no ability other than pulling your arm back and pushing forward.

  11. because billiards is g*y

  12. billiards requires physical ability and you would know this if you play in a high level.  There's archery, shooting in olympics and you pretty much just point and shoot in a straight line standing up. At least billiards, there's the power break, the different strokes which requires a lot of skill and also billiards require you to walk around the table, bend down.. that's more physical than archery or gun shooting.

wish it was to because it is called Olympic GAMES and I think physically, mentally and definitely its popularity can qualify for it to being a competition and I believe the Olympics is really about competition.

Yup, Efren would take it, he steps up to anything big! If Pacquio wasn't pro he could win gold in boxing.  Yeah wished we had more athletes in P.I.
