  1. Because there are no race tracks between the kitchen, bedroom and laundary.. duh!

  2. When you watch the olympics, you will notice that not once will you ever see men and women competing head to head. There must be good reasons for this. Now ask yourself why is auto racing the only sport  where women are competing against men and expected to be successful. Doesn't make any sense to me. Are horsepower and racing tires supposed to be a great equalizer?

  3. There have been a few sucessful women racing drivers,

Pat Moss, sister of Stirling Moss won several rallies,

or Michelle Mouton another sucessful rally driver

or Lella Lombardi the only women F1 driver to score a world championship point,

Most women racing drivers never make the top motorsports for reasons that are best left alone.

  4. Because it takes balls.

  5. Fundamental reason is biology.  Women's "normal" spatial awareness is not as good as men's.  While there are variations in this attribute, the very top men have better spatial awareness than women.

    Women have other skills/attributes.

  6. Shirley Muldowney's historical season long accomplishments clinched the Winston World Championship for points in

top fuel making her the first and only lady ever to do so (1977). She became the first racer ever to win

three consecutive NHRA national events back to back. Today in over four decades of drag racing, she is still

the only woman ever to win an NHRA top fuel points championship.

  7. Danica Patrick is getting really close in the Indy series.

  8. There are. Danica Patrick has been in the top ten in points since she started IRL and there are many who have been in drag racing and other forms of racing.

It takes a lot of determination and guts to do what they do.

I think Ryan Briscoe and Dan Wheldon found out you can't push Danica around. I think more drivers should exhibit that fire.

  9. Just ask 10 random women if they want to become a race car driver then ask 10 men.  Probably be 1 in 10 women would want to do that and more like 9 in 10 men.  Women think it's silly...there is just more of a tallent pool on the men's side.  Just think how long it took for a Michael Schumacher to come along.  Imagine the tallent pool being 1/10th of that for women...it will just take longer for a GREAT women driver to come a long.

  10. because biologically & scientifically, male has a higher testosterone level than female. Like an alpha-male factor in the animal world.

  11. denoter2000 you f*cking sexist b*stard.

There are no female champion drivers because we still live in a world where the females are less likely to get promoted, are less powerful and less influential, even though we proved a long time ago that we are just as clever. It won't be changing for a while, but I assure you, it eventually will.

  12. we woman don't care about driveing cars so fast we could kill ourselves-but i am sure there are some

  13. One reason I see is that Women ( unlike Men) have greater emotional understanding and nurturing capabilities.

Why does this make any difference?  Men race and fight and compete largely because they are all about themselves.  Their goal is to become the greatest...what ever.  Gain glory and accolade.

Women are not concerned greatly about themselves in this manner.  They don't feel a need to compensate for feeling of inferiority (or impotency)  They are well contented to build up people and heal the wounded spirits.

This is not meant to be an all inclusive statement, but an observation of generalities.
