Why are there no male persocons in chobits?

Dont get me wrong im perfectly happy with all the women persocons ;). But how come there arent any males? Just wondering...

There are male persocoms, but they are mostly just in the background/crowd scenes in Chobits. You can tell by their ears/connectors. Near the end of the series, a male persocom by the name of Zima appears.

Because Chobits was a seinen manga, it makes sense CLAMP would feature the female persocoms more than the male ones for plot and fan service reasons.
