Why are there no questions about eating out in Edinburgh?

we went to Edinburgh to a restuarant and on the board outside it said 2 course meal for £7-50 so me and my friend went in and then after ordering and eating our meal we were presented with a bill for double what it should have been, when we asked about it we were told that they do not do deals like that at the height of the tourist season, so why advertise it, total rip off and we won`t be back.

Maybe because us Edinburgh is too wee. There are loads of nice places to eat out tho.

I don't know why but i am sure now that you've asked there soon will be as Edinburgh has some fine eating establishments. There are many of these to be found in this cultured city i.e. you can join in with the local tramps forraging in the local bins for some fine leftover food without having to pay extortionate prices, plus you get the added bonus of hearing the wonderous stories they have to tell, like how they found an almost complete Happy Meal the other day and washed it down with some coke with the ice still in it or at least they thought it was ice. Yes Edinburgh has so many places to eat out at as long as you are a tourist and don't mind paying through the nose, so come to Edinburgh and get ripped off and we may sell you the castle at a knock down price.
