Why are there ocean tides on earth?

  1. There are ocean tides (such as low tide and high tide) because of the gravitational pull of the moon.


  2. Because of the moons gravity. When the gravity pulls the water on one side so it comes back in one hemisphere (lowtide) and goes toward in the other (hightide)
