Why are there only 5 counties mentioned in the Ireland category?

Cork

Dublin

Limerick

Waterford

Galway

I live in Donegal is there something wrong with us? lol

they are the 5 main cities in Ireland. they don't mention the cities in Northern Ireland because in the UK section they put Belfast (so they won't get in trouble). Donegal isn't a city. I live in Meath and as it aint a city either, it's not on the list. the only people that can argue about the "counties list" are people in Kilkenny, it's a city but it's not mentioned in the list.

They are the main cities rather than counties.

Why not have all the counties in tho - including Northern Ireland? Lets face it the title says Ireland - not the Republic of Ireland. And Northern Ireland IS on the island.

I wonder what criteria Yahoo used that resulted in only five counties being mentioned. Population size? But it is short-sighted as well as unfair to ignore the other Irish counties.

P.S. There can't be anything wrong with Donegal. A few barmaids I know are from Donegal and they happen to be very pretty, well-educated, witty and fun.

Okay I'm sorry, no offence, but who's gonna be asking questions about Donegal? "How do I get my sheep to climb the mountain properly?" LOL! The reason they're the only counties up there is because they are the most tourist-relevant areas.

Those are the main cities. I mean there's 32 counties in Ireland (or 26 depending on the way you wanna look at it) at to be honest there wouldn't be that much questions for Donegal/Roscommon/Louth etc!

It could depend on the population. Maybe there are not enough people from some counties to put on here. The counties mentioned have a larger population.
