  1. If there was a penny inside of the airbag, it wouldn't cause any damage unless the airbag got torn open & the penny got released.......

But i have never heard of pennies being inside the airbag anyway, & I have been in the field since airbags were invented....

  2. From all that I have read concerning airbags, there are no pennies in airbags.

  3. What??? This is news to me!!!!!

  4. There isn't supposed to be.

  5. Unless someone dropped a coin underneath the airbag module there are no coins (pennies or otherwise) in the airbags of vehicles.

If it was slid underneath the airbag in the wheel or the dash, it is most likely outside the bag area and will not cause a problem.

I would however get a shop to attempt to remove it
