  1. Weak or corrupt governments that make it impossible for charities to work in the country. We could remove the government, but it will cost a lot more, and we will be accused of colonialism.

  2. To borrow from the late great Sam Kinison, people don't live where the food is.

Corrupt governments taking aid and reselling it or hoarding it for use by their inner circle. NGOs shipping useless food products to people that don't eat what's being shipped. Narco states forcing local farmers to produce drug feedstock instead of foodstuffs.

  3. There are probably many reasons why this happens. Sometimes the food is seized by the government authorities to feed their armies before it manages to reach those in real need.

Today they are using land to grow plants for bio fuels which means that there is less food being grown for people to eat.

  4. same reason most of america is overweigh. NOM NOM NOM.

  5. well maybe because alot of people support the war in iraq, and some people would rather kill others than help feed them. Alot of money is going to this worthless war and all its doing is killing innocent families.......
