Why are there so many conservatives on yahoo answers?

I'm not complaining, I'm merely noticing that there are a disproportionate amount of people (being disproportionate to the number in the u.s. i mean) who are conservative. just wondering.

I don't see any more than in normal society, or do you think that any at all are too many? Plus, to thc451, not all conservatives are Republican; some have gotten off the two-party treadmill.

I haven't noticed a very large number of conservatives.  I have noticed a significant number of incredibly pissed off supporters of Hillary Clinton.   Some of those are conservatives, some just feel completely sidelined by their party.  

I am grateful for the more conservative answers I read on here.  Gives me a reminder that even if the liberal news media continues it's blatant propoganda, at least there is one outlet where I see people raging against the inanity.

I'm conservative, but I do not side with the neo-conservatives.  I'm liberal, but I do not side with the neo-liberals.  I side with common-sense and reason.  I let them be my guide.

It seems like mostly conservatives on here.  It's certainly a strange phenomena...possibly because they tend to be 'louder'.

Holy **** its the dumbest thing in the world to say that conservatives look at facts and democrats  do not.  Asinine.  Both sides have idiots and both sides have people that fact check.  You cannot generalize like that, you are wrong.  Wrong.

You may have belief, but marginalizing all liberals into people that hate america is also dumb, asinine propaganda.  Its called bias.  Liberals see different solutions  to problems as republicans do.  That is all.  You think what you beleive is right, they think what they beleive is the right thing to do.

So are you basing your history of conservatives being better than liberals on what?  Fall of communism in Russia?  America has been the most powerful because we had real good luck- genius founding fathers, a fresh new country, and copious recources.   We fought communism and caused it to fail not because we are enemies with communists, but because the countries we were enemies with were communist.  As far as left leaning socialist programs go within the context of American, they are not failure- think about your roads, schools, fire department.  Roosevelt saved capitalism with his new deal.  A large group of socialist programs that helped stopped America's economy from completely collapsing during the depression.

Despite the liberals left leaning veiws, America is still a democracy, and still a capitalist state.  The left you fear still exists within the context of America.

so when did you do your questioning about whether people are consevative or liberal or whatever? I didnt take part in it... You cant be conservative on every issue there is, just like you cant be liberal on everyissue there is.

every problem needs to be though over and researched and decided based on all the facts, not just making a decision based on "whats in it for me". Which is the way that most politcians make decisions these days. There should be no republican, democrat, liberal, or conservative, laws and policy should be based on whats good for the American people, and in a greater sense "whats good for the future of mankind"

There's probably close to an equal number of both but conservatives have a tendicy to rant and insult, so you are naturally aware of their presence more.

Probably because we aren't content like liberal blogsters to just sit in our own little corner of the world and hear ourselves talk and think we are important.

Conservatives, in general, seek the truth, and once we have it, we attack the idiot-ogical blogisphere's and forums where liberals, socialists and unpatriotic love to congregate and proceed to take a crack at bring them back to reality.

It isn't for self esteem, its that we don't want you making stupid policy , running our lives and talking c**p that might effect our wallets and quality of life down the road all because no one stood in your way and proved you wrong.

Sure, I can't say all conservatives are diligent with the facts, but for the most part we have History on our side. Look upon history and tell me that all the failed socialist experiements the liberals and democrats haven't only failed , but wasted tax payer money and brought about a less moral, less strong and independant America through government interference and policies.
