  1. Interconnections between neurons, or synapses, are the ways in which the brain forms memories or stores information, so each time u receive a new piece of information in the form of visual/verbal/audio etc stimuli, your neurons will form new synapses. Synapses are also important for communication between brain and all other parts of the body, the brain being the higher control center of the body coordinates and ultimately controls all other organs and tissues of the body via communications with synapse. Because we are so highly coordinated, the brain obviously needs to integrate information from all input centers, and this is done via synapses. I hope ive answered ur Q.
